What are we looking for?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to lead our technology infrastructure and operations, from our Goa Office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT systems within a SaaS environment, with a focus on ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage day-to-day IT operations while also driving strategic initiatives that align with our business goals.

What will you be doing

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Manage cloud-based services, ensuring high availability and seamless integration with other systems.
Lead IT projects, including system updates, migrations, and implementations, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement robust security protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Provide technical support and training to staff, ensuring that all employees can effectively use IT resources.
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service levels are met.
Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending upgrades and improvements to the IT infrastructure.

What you bring

Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management, preferably within a SaaS environment.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
Experience with network administration, including firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols.
Proficient in managing databases, storage solutions, and backup systems.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and experience implementing security measures.
Hands-on experience with IT service management (ITSM) and project management tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

Nice-to-have

Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CompTIA Network+) are highly desirable.
Experience with automation tools and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automating tasks.
Experience in managing remote teams and supporting a distributed workforce.
